Life After Rain and Rainbow - Islamic Kids Stories

Sarah had a great time in the rain and looking at the rainbow was very exciting. But she went down with high fever because of getting wet. She felt miserable. She prayed to Allah that she would always obey her elder and would never play in the rain again. She hated being in bed and having so many medicines and having to eat such dull food. She also felt very sorry for her parents who were worried for her. She prayed to Allah to make her well just one last time and promised that she would never again do anything wrong.

Sarah could not go to school for the next three days and then it was a weekend. On the first two days, when she was very ill, Farah and Shuaib each look a day off from their offices. Her brother and sister tried to entertain her by reading out stories and talking about school. Hamza even told her about the football match in such details that she felt as if she was there and, for a while, she even forgot her illness. Rukhsana Aapa made very nice soups for her. Everyone stayed around till she fell asleep and her mouther slept with her in case she needed something during night.

Soon she got better. She thanked Allah for giving her such a nice and loving family and also for creating good medicines. Sarah thanked everyone and promised to listen them. They said they would always be there for her. She felt good. The little monkey got better and was soon up to her tricks, until Sidra reminded her of her promise to Allah not to be naughty and obey her elders.
